  • To be honest I hate to see any "Housing Plan" come to fruition. People got themselves into this mess with greed. Everyone wants to blame the lenders, but it was the people who sought out the loans.

  • Mdowning- actually your struggle with getting a loan was probably based on your credit history it sounds like, but not how you think. A bunch of people don't realize that cancelling credit cards adversely affects you credit worthiness as well. Sounds tricky doesn't it.

  • You could probably finance it over 3 years through a Best Buy Credit Card. If used properly it would allow you to purchase the TV that day and make small payments over 3 years ($ for a $3,000 TV). That allows you to put that cash in savings for the 3 years to earn interest.

  • Chill out Seh, both Corporate and I are simply pointing out that you need to educate yourself on the principles of how something works before you jump into it. If people had done that, the economy would probably be better for everyone right now.
